Students who have completed an OA Certificate are encouraged to write the MOS tests at the completion of their studies, thereby obtaining additional, valuable credentials. It is the only testing centre of its kind north of Edmonton and is the most northerly MOS testing centre in North America. We are pleased to be able to offer MOS Certification through our Office Administration department's on-site testing centre. As well, some employers are sending their final candidates to our Microsoft Testing Centre for MOS testing before making their final selections. Employers are recognizing the value of this Certification and are waiving computer testing during the interview process when a candidate can present the MOS Certification. It is a valuable credential recognized worldwide as proof that you've got the desktop computing skills you need to work more productively and more efficiently than many of your peers. There are separate tests for each of MS Office Suite's applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as Windows 10 for the Business Worker. Using an actual document, for example, you will be asked to perform a series of tasks that clearly demonstrate your desktop computing skills. Instead, they feature real-world assignments based on the way you actually use your computer.
